Beko wants global firms to integrate locally for market penetration

Beko Home Appliances has urged global firms to integrate locally and adopt consumer-centric strategies to hasten market penetration.

Speaking during the product debut in Lagos, Regional Director, sub-Saharan Africa, Evren Albas noted that having the right partner is critical for the longevity of any brand.

According to him, Beko, has partnered with a provider of integrated supply chain solutions, MDS Logistics, to showcase its latest range of products.

“Nigerians would now be able to enjoy technology embedded quality kitchen products from Beko. The product range includes small appliances, washing machines, cooking appliances, all types of refrigerators and freezers,” he added.

Albas stressed that Beko seeks to support consumers and the community by introducing quality and efficient products that meet the highest environmental standards.

“These products do more with less consumption of energy and water resources. This shows that we can cater for customers through wide range of technology-designed solutions,” he noted.

During the launch, Beko displayed its environmental-friendly products that maintain higher energy efficiency than other brands. These products include solar refrigerator and chest freezer which run on solar energy. The solar products are targeted at communities where there is no constant electricity.

Also, CoolBox, a new product, was launched by Beko for the first time in Africa. The CoolBox is an innovative solution that allows consumers who cannot benefit from the powered refrigerators or freezers, to keep their food fresh. Made from special material and evaporative technology, Beko CoolBox maintains the freshness of food for up to two times longer.

The NeoFrost dual cooling technology creates ideal conditions for foods by blowing air at the perfect rate and temperature level, to prevent drying of vegetables and fruits through high humidity. This technology balances the air circulation between the shelves through two time faster cooling system. Other product offerings include high-efficiency gas burners, Aquawave technology (washing machine).
