IN a bid to reduce hassles for online users, car site, Carmudi, has unveiled its android application. 

   The Managing Director (MD), Carmudi Nigeria, Mr. Christian Keller, on occasion of the release, recently, said there would be no more waiting for months to get the right kind of buyer before users can sell their cars. 

    According to him, “The development comes barely two months after Carmudi celebrated its one year anniversary and website re-launch. The android application makes selling of cars very easy. There will be no more visiting a plethora of car dealers to get your resale’s worth. With millions of Nigerians using Smart phones, everyone can access Carmudi’s app.”

  On his part, the Chief Product Officer, Carmudi Nigeria Mr. Nalla Kurananithy, noted: “The Android App has been designed in a way that it works seamlessly even in countries where the Internet speed is relatively slow. 

    “Our intent is to bring the car selling experience to a whole new level in emerging markets, by providing an extremely smooth and easy-to-use platform.”

   “Sellers get prompt notifications and alerts about potential customers straight to their Android devices. This way, you can get in touch with buyers immediately and make an active sale. If you are undecided about pricing your used car, you can choose from various options between ‘drive away’, ‘on the road’ and ‘negotiable prices’. This will allow you meet potential buyers before committing to a final price,” he said.

  On the high security standard and transparency level of the mobile application, Mr. Kurananithy said that Carmudi allows dealers and individual sellers a secure and trusted stamp among buyers. 

    “The professional photos, the updated listings, the detailed descriptions, reports and rankings of all the listed vehicles make the selling and buying experience absolutely stress-free,” he said.

  However, cars listed through the Android app and the websites are shared with Carmudi’s social media followers to make the selling process effective.
