Mywurah Solutions Limited, a Nigerian fintech company, has expanded its grassroots financial inclusion initiative by providing point-of-sale (POS) terminals and start-up capital to 300 businesses across Lagos State. The deployment marks a significant step in the company’s mission to support small enterprises and enhance access to digital financial services in local communities.
The initiative, which commenced on Monday, 1st September 2025, extends beyond Mywurah’s existing 15 branch locations and surpasses the Central Bank of Nigeria’s minimum requirement of 50 agent networks. The company aims to scale further as it seeks a CBN licence to operate as an agency banking service provider.
Chief Executive Officer Adiatu Damilola highlighted the importance of empowering grassroots communities.
“The grassroots communities are the heart and root of commerce in every nation, and Mywurah is ready to put in the work empowering them through financial services, agency banking, and business directory services,” she said.
Through a partnership with Nomba, formerly Kudi, and in collaboration with SANEFNG, Mywurah distributed POS terminals and start-up capital to the 300 beneficiaries. The programme is designed to strengthen small businesses, facilitate financial inclusion, and stimulate economic activity at the community level.
The company said it plans to expand the initiative further, reaching thousands more businesses in the coming weeks. Mywurah reiterated its commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable grassroots economic growth.
