Chimoney, Interledger Foundation partner to boost cross-border payments across Africa
Chimoney has entered a new phase of its collaboration with the Interledger Foundation (ILF), aiming to transform cross-border payment solutions globally. This collaboration is poised to significantly enhance cross-border payment capabilities, offering businesses in Africa and beyond the tools they need to thrive in the global market through the enhanced Chimoney Wallets.
By integrating Interledger Protocol (ILP) into its platform, Chimoney Wallets will support Interledger Payment Pointers, ensuring secure and compliant transactions. The platform will also allow instant Peer-to-Peer (P2P) transfers, making international money movement more efficient. Furthermore, the integration enhances Chimoney’s cross-border payment infrastructure and API capabilities, enabling seamless transactions across more than 130 countries.
