Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), a business data and analytics company, has received the TRUSTe Responsible AI Certification from TrustArc for the second consecutive year after an independent review of its AI governance practices.

The certification, which this year covers a wider range of the company’s AI-powered tools, including both client-facing applications and internal systems, assesses how organisations develop, deploy and manage AI, with a focus on transparency, responsible use and risk management.

D&B uses artificial intelligence across its data and analytics platforms to support businesses with credit decisions, risk management, compliance and market intelligence.

TrustArc’s evaluation examines whether organisations have adequate safeguards for managing the ethical, operational and regulatory risks tied to AI systems and also reviews internal oversight processes, data governance structures and accountability mechanisms.

The renewal comes as companies globally face growing pressure from regulators and stakeholders to demonstrate responsible AI development and deployment.
