An economic summit designed to promote investment in various sectors to guarantee continuous growth is being planned by the Osun State Government in Osogbo on June 25-27, 2019.

An economic summit designed to promote investment in various sectors to guarantee continuous growth is being planned by the Osun State Government in Osogbo on June 25-27, 2019.

It is to align its development agenda with the private sector needs, according to summit planning co-chairman, Prof. Olalekan Yinusa, who also supervises the Budget and Economic Planning Ministry. He said the summit would have up to 52 key economic drivers in the country as speakers, panelists and moderators.

Key business leaders who have confirmed their participation include the chairman of First Bank Plc, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika; the chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Mr. Asue Igbodalo; the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Mr. Usman Mohammed and the Central Bank of Nigeria.Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will present the economic roadmap of his administration and showcase investment opportunities to prospective investors and partners at the summit.
