Firm unveils new digital products in Nigeria
Skysat Technologies Nigeria Limited, the sole distributors of Konica Minolta digital print solutions in Nigeria has announced the introduction into the Nigerian market the latest range of products from the manufacturers stable.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Izzat Debs, made the announcement while unveiling some of the newly introduced digital print solutions at its 4th Digital Print Solution Exhibition held at the Transcorps Hilton Hotel Abuja yesterday.
The new digital solutions at the exhibition included the recently launched digital labeling machine specially designed for the production of quick turn around and short run labels and light packages as well as the Brother MFC Printers and Duplo print finishing machines, all of which underwent demonstration at the exhibition stand, which had in attendance representatives of two Nigerian ministers, namely, industries, trade and commerce and the information and culture.
Speaking further, Skysat CEO said: “Skysat Technologies by hosting this exhibition at this time is an indication that the company is unarguably a market leader in the digital printing sector. The company, which already has more than 1000 users of Konica Minolta machines across the nation, has since 2011 supported the establishment of more than 500 small and medium enterprises in the printing sector, creating over 2000 jobs.
“Holding this exhibition is therefore part of the Company’ plan to consolidate and grow its market share in the office documentation and digital printing sector to support efforts of the Government of President Buhari to attract foreign direct investment, reduce capital flight and create jobs for the teeming unemployed Nigerians. The Company is also introducing incentives and discounts during the exhibition to support acquisition of our products,” Debs further stated.
In a remark at the Exhibition, the representative of the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed , a Deputy Director in the Ministry, Charles Ojuagbana commended Skysat Technologies for the exhibition and expansion in the country.
He said: “The exhibition by Skylat demonstrates that Nigeria entrepreneurs and investors in print business now have access to the latest technology and solutions for office documentation and printing and as I understand, the solutions and machines at this show , are the best in the world and I dare to say that in a very short time, there would be no need to outsource printing jobs out of the country of the expertise and support and provided by companies such as Skysat.”
