More than 4,367 exhibitors from 96 countries and above 137,000 visitors from 143 countries are expected to gather in Frankfurt, Germany as the 2017 global consumer-goods fair ‘Ambiente’, the organiser, Messe Frankfurt said.

The fair is regarded as a leading international trade fair for products for the table, kitchen and household, gift articles, jewellery and fashion requisites, as well as decorative products, interior design concepts and furnishing accessories.

Nigeria’s representative of the company, Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition and Trade Limited, Omonigho Itoya, said in Lagos that the exhibition, scheduled to hold from 10 to 14 February 2017 would further the consumer goods sector in Nigeria by offering visitors and exhibitors new innovations, products and opportunities.

“With significantly over 50 per cent of visitors coming from outside Germany, exhibitors at Ambiente can be sure of reaching multiple target groups from different parts of the world. This makes it the ideal platform for launching products or even whole product series onto the market”, Vice President Ambiente, Nicolette Naumann said.

As a leading trade fair for consumer goods, the fair would present the complete international spectrum of products for the tableware, furnishing and giving sectors, the organiser added

A statement from the firm also disclosed that the Great Britain would be new partner country as the fair is set to unveil unusual product ideas: new ‘talents’ areas – ‘ethical style’ and ‘fashion accessories.
