HLA flags-off national essay competition
Heirs Life Assurance (HLA) has concluded arrangements for its forthcoming national essay competition aimed at developing writing skills among school children across the country.
The Chief Marketing Officer, Heirs Life Assurance, Ifesinachi Okpagu, revealed this via a statement. Okpagu said that primary school pupils and secondary school students were expected to participate in the competition, tagged, ‘Heirs Life Essay Championship’.
She noted that the essay, which is a nationwide competition, targets students between the ages of eight and 13 years.
According to her, entries for the essay championship opened on May 27 and will close on June 17.
Participating students are expected to submit a 500-word essay on the topic ‘If I were the President of Nigeria’.
