The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), in collaboration with major sectoral groups within the advertising and marketing communications industry, has unveiled plans for the three-day 2025 National Advertising Conference (NAC).
The three-day event is slated for Wednesday, November 12 to Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton), Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.
This year’s edition, themed “Marketing Communications: Transforming Businesses and Creating Growth in Challenging Times,” will highlight the industry’s critical role in driving economic recovery and development.
Speaking at a media briefing, ARCON Director-General, Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, was optimistic that this year’s edition would be better, and more impactful.
The Organising Committee’s Chairman, Tunji Adeyinka, said the NAC over the years has tried not to be a talkshop but discuss and work on issues in the sector. He added that the regulator has been very open which has helped in achieving its goals.
“We are bringing together voices from across the industry to discuss how we can thrive despite the challenges before us.”
According to him, there would be over 50 speakers across key sectors, with a line-up designed to spark deep conversations and actionable insights.
President of the Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN), Dozie Okafor, described NAC as “an indispensable platform for navigating industry change.”
LanreAdisa, President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) and Chairman of the Heads of Advertising Sectoral Groups (HASG), underscored its unique role in fostering collaboration in a technology-driven era, while EXMAN President, TolulopeMedebem, stressed that “now more than ever, stakeholders must come together to chart a collective path forward.”
