Manufacturer reaffirms commitment to African market

WEMY Industries has reaffirmed its commitment to deepening connections with the African market and expanding access to affordable healthcare and hygiene products.

It made this reaffirmation during the Intra-Africa Trade Fair (IATF) 2025, organised by Afreximbank and the African Union. The fair brought together business leaders, manufacturers, policymakers and investors from across Africa and beyond, with countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Mali, Ethiopia, Chad, Senegal, Nigeria and Italy represented.

The company’s Public Relations and Communications Manager, Doris Sulieman, described the exhibition as a defining moment for them. Beyond showcasing its brands, the company said it used the opportunity to build strategic partnerships, engage potential distributors, partners and investors to drive expansion and create more value for consumers across the continent.

Looking ahead, the company expressed excitement about the next edition, scheduled to take place in Lagos.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Wemy Industries, Paul Odunaiya, said the event would provide a homecoming moment for them.

“For any business interested in exporting to other African countries, the IATF is a must-attend. It is one of the biggest and most impactful fairs we have participated in and it offers a cost-effective way of reaching multiple countries at once. We are eager to build on this momentum and continue expanding our reach to improve lives across Africa,” he said.
