Organisers of LagosVegFest have stated that this year’s fair will further drive the need for healthy living among Nigerians despite the prevailing economic situation in the country.

According to them, the third edition of the festival on healthy lifestyle and plant-based diet, themed, ‘Green Living & Yoga’, will commence from November 18-20 with exhibitors, workshops and exercise sessions at the Freedom Park, Lagos Island.

“Health touches everybody’s life in Nigeria. In its third year running, the LagosVegFest (LVF) secured a partnership with Lagos @50, the anniversary celebrations by Lagos State Government.

“We are delighted to see this festival of healthy lifestyle growing. More and more Nigerians are becoming aware of how to improve their health and we need to reach many more to address many unhealthy habits that bring burden to our people. At LagosVegFest, people can experience the amazing benefits and great taste of a plant based diet as well as exercise and other healthy products“,says Hakeem Jimo, co-organizer of LagosVegFest.

“This year, Dr. Aris Latham is expected all the way from Panama. Latham is the founder of ‘Sunfired Foods’ and is a famous raw food chef. He will give live cooking demonstrations during the three-day festival.”
