Bank restates support for financial inclusion

Fidelity Bank Plc has restated its support to bridge the housing challenge in country, with product offerings that are aimed at promoting the national financial inclusion strategy.

Fidelity Bank Plc has restated its support to bridge the housing challenge in country, with product offerings that are aimed at promoting the national financial inclusion strategy.

The bank restated the pledge at the fifth draw of its ongoing Save4Shelter promo, an initiative scripted to encourage savings culture in Nigeria and deepening of financial inclusion, which had winners emerge at tge weekend through electronic selection.

Besides, the bank said its reward programme would continue to provide incentives that would make compliance easy and attract customers to benefit from the financial inclusion.

The Executive Director, Shared Services, Fidelity Bank, Mrs. Chijioke Ugochwukwu, who described the promo as a unique one, said it focuses on one of the basic needs of the populace.

The initiative depicts concern in meeting the basic needs of its valued customers. The reward scheme is the fifth of its kind in the last eight years. Winners who could not emerge in the star prize category had consolation prize of generating set and fridge,” she said.

The winners that emerged from the consolation prize of generating set were Odin Omole from Ota branch; Eric Amadi from Port Harcourt; Iben Ikeokwu Kingsley from Obosi; Oloade Oluwayomife kullen from Gariki; Hauwa Aliyare Yakubu from Yola and Adebisi Shittu Azeez from Festac.

For the consolation prize of fridge; Messah Troussi from V.I; Joseph Chukwunonso from llorin; Igbagara Barile Garrison from Port Harcourt; Orachosin Ezinna Gidem; Allison Catherine Kullenfrom Gariki and Ikechukwu Nethan from Kano.
However, in the 500, 000 category, four winners emerged; Jewel Favour Chinenye; Olukutun Abdulrasheed Temitope from Akure.

The highpoint of the draw was the emergency prize winner of one million, Obi Michael Chidozie from Obosi branch and the star prize of two million was Adamu Kabir from Kaduna branch.

The grand star prize of four bedrooms duplex with boys quarters worth over 35 million located in Port-Harcourt was won by Odinanosen Adodo from Uromi branch.

Commenting on the promo, the Division Head, Retail Bank, Fidelity Bank, Richard Madiebo said: We encourage our esteem customers to continue to patronize us and we will continue to give them excellent service delivering.”

Present during the promo were Head, Consumer Protection Council (CPC) and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) to ensure the transparency of the process.

The ongoing promo has one more duplex to be won, located in Lagos over N20 million rent support and consolation prizes of refrigerators and generators.
