A new advisory firm, EnergyInc Advisors, has officially launched to help de-risk and drive capital into Africa’s energy and infrastructure sectors, with a focus on projects that align with the continent’s transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy.
The firm, founded by renowned energy and investment expert, Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani, is positioned to serve as a critical bridge between global investors and African energy opportunities, leveraging nearly two decades of executive experience and a track record supporting over $8 billion in capital deployment across the continent.
Speaking at a media parley to announce the launch, Akinkugbe-Filani, who is the Founding Chief Executive Officer, said the continent was at a critical turning point and needs the right mix of capital, partnerships and strategic positioning to unlock its full economic potential.
“Africa holds immense opportunity, but unlocking that opportunity requires more than just vision, it requires execution, access, and de-risking. EnergyInc Advisors was created to fill that gap by connecting local intelligence with international capital and investor expectations,” she said.
According to her, EnergyInc Advisors offers an integrated suite of services including strategic advisory, capital raising, transaction structuring, investor engagement and market positioning.
The firm is focused on helping project developers and companies in the energy, infrastructure and financial sectors navigate complex investment environments, aligning their ambitions with both market realities and global capital mandates.
“From upstream oil projects to compressed natural gas rollouts, mini-grid solar systems, and national energy transition initiatives, the firm aims to translate Africa’s ambitious energy goals into bankable, investment-ready ventures,” she said.
EnergyInc Advisors is built on the founder’s longstanding record in the energy and finance space, offering clarity, strategic direction and a proven model for capital mobilisation to support Africa’s economic transformation.
