Government and private sector leaders are set to interrogate emerging policy directions and project momentum across Africa’s energy markets, translating national and regional commitments into bankable projects, de-risked financing structures and deliverable implementation roadmaps at NOG Energy Week 2026.
Ministers from different African countries, chief executive officers in the private sector and financiers will translate dialogue to fast-track regional partnerships, upstream investment and the African Atlantic pipeline.
The event, which will also mark the 25th anniversary, under the theme: ‘Advancing Energy Ambitions for Competitive & Resilient Economies’, is scheduled to hold from July 5–9, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
According to the Conference’s Executive Committee, the programme discussions will centre on the practical levers required to convert policy momentum into investable projects.
The committee said the event will also unlock cross-border energy infrastructure, examine how governments are using bilateral relationships to de-risk investment, accelerate approvals and showcase deal structures that are enabling Africa to attract both international and domestic capital.
The committee said the programme will also interrogate emerging gas-led opportunities, upstream investment pathways and the strategic role of export infrastructure, including the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline, in enhancing energy security and competitiveness.
The committee further noted that the event will have in attendance the Group Chief Executive Officer, NNPC Limited, Bayo Ojulari; Chief Executive Officer, Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), Proscovia Nabbanja; Chairman and Managing Director, Chevron Nigeria Mid-Africa Business Unit, Jim Swartz; Managing Director, Oando Energy Resources, Dr Ainojie ‘Alex’ Irune and the Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, Tony Attah.
