The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited has declared a dividend payout of N90.6 million to its members for last year.

The cooperative society also posted a net surplus of N181.2 million for the year under review, up from N156.4 million in 2024, representing a growth of N24.81 million.

The President of the Cooperative Society, Adeyemi Olaolu, presented the 2025 financial performance yesterday at the 30th yearly general meeting and elections of new executive members held in Lagos.

Olaolu said the society’s total income rose from N168.7 million in 2024 to N191.5 million in 2025, while total assets increased from N1.32 billion to N1.46 billion at the end of the financial year.

The president also stated that the cooperative disbursed N102.3 million in savings to retired members during the year, adding that all retirees received their entitlements promptly and without deductions.

On members’ welfare, Olaolu said the cooperative continued to provide financial support through its regular loan and the children’s education loan schemes, offered at reasonable interest rates to assist members in meeting financial obligations.
