PalmPay marks six years of driving financial inclusion in Nigeria

PalmPay, Africa’s leading neobank and one of the continent’s fastest-growing fintech platforms, is celebrating six years of empowering millions of Nigerians with innovative, accessible, and rewarding financial solutions.

Since its debut in 2019, the platform has expanded rapidly, now serving over 35 million users and processing millions of transactions daily. From families and individuals to small and medium enterprises, PalmPay has become a trusted partner in helping people better manage their money.

“PalmPay was built on the belief that banking should be accessible to everyone—safe, simple, and rewarding,” said Chika Nwosu, Managing Director of PalmPay. “Over the past six years, the trust and impact stories from our users remind us that our solutions go beyond technology—they enable smarter financial habits tailored to people’s everyday needs.”

As part of the anniversary, the company has unveiled its Lucky Wish Campaign, which runs from September 12–29, 2025. The campaign will highlight inspiring user stories while rewarding loyal customers with premium gadgets such as Apple AirPods, iPhone 17 Pro, and Samsung A16 smartphones.
PalmPay is also advancing its Hustle Grant Campaign, designed to support Nigerian entrepreneurs. Nine winners will be unveiled in phases ahead of the grand finale on September 26, each receiving ₦500,000 in funding to scale their businesses.

The company’s success has been driven by its user-first strategy, combining rewards, financial education, and affordable digital services to accelerate financial inclusion and boost digital literacy across Nigeria.

Looking ahead, PalmPay says its mission remains clear: to deliver smarter, safer, and more inclusive banking services for all. “This anniversary is not just our celebration,” Nwosu added. “It is a celebration of every user who has trusted us to power their financial journey.”
