T20 Luxury CEO advises Nigerian youths to embrace entrepreneurship
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T20 Luxury, Olajide Tope aka Toplagy, has condemned the growing rate of unemployment in Nigeria.
Quoting a report by the Nigeria’s Bureau of Statistics, Mr. Olajide said Nigeria’s unemployment rate as at the second quarter of 2020 was 27.1%, showing that about 21,764,614 (21.7 million) Nigerians remained unemployed.
While Nigeria’s unemployment and underemployment rate (28.6%) is a combined 55.7%, Mr. Olajide urged the Nigerian government to pay more attention because there is job crisis in the West African country.
Mr. Olajide advised the youths to embrace entrepreneurship as a means of survival. He also applauded the youths for starting up businesses that offer solutions to daily needs instead of for corporate bodies to employ them.
He stated that starting a retail business can be very tasking and the processes of finding market stability can be cumbersome depending on the area of specialization.
Mr. Olajide noted that the youths of Nigeria doing retail business are very hard working because retail business is even more tedious for services that deal with providing people with personal essentials, which includes but not limited to wears, homes, furniture’s, etc.
Speaking about how humans are always conscious of their appearance and always seem to have a better idea of how their outfits should be made, colour combination and what to wear base on season and occasion, Mr. Olajide stated it requires a seasoned shopper to satisfy the ever insatiable need of prospective clients.
He said he started T20 Luxury to be a fashion outfit that concentrates on being personal shopping and retailing firm. Mr. Olajide’s enthusiasm for fashion made him start the company in the United Arab Emirate and through the firm, he has helped people who have a great taste for fashion and luxury source for quality items from top designers across the world.
