Touchdown Travels thrills clients with new offering
The event was put together to sensitize her corporate clients on development in the travel industry as well as launch the birth and presentation of the TMC’s new technology, called Corporate Self Booking Tool (CSBT)
With the series of development that has caught up with the travel industry across the globe in general and Nigerian travel market in particular, Touchdown Travels in its continuous bid to be technologically advanced, invested heavily on the tool. It is specially designed for air tickets, hotels, and transfer requests. Some of its features include adequate control of travel requests; control of travel budgets; instant retrieval of reports; travelers map/easy tracking; and easy setup.
Guests at the event were taken through the process of CSBT usage. Emphasis was made on its user-friendly nature, showing how to travel policies of each organization are embedded in the booking process; how to configure the profiles of the users that are responsible for approving out of policy business trips; how to ensure travel policy compliance by defining approval profiles and assigning them at the user level.
High point of the occasion was the raffle draw on free Air tickets presented by various Airline partners (Turkish Airline, Qatar Airways, Delta Air Lines, Air France/KLM, and Kenya Airways) to guests in attendance.
Gift items such as smart LED TV and other items were also won by guests through raffle draws.
Clients from all walks of life, ranging from telecommunication, oil, and gas, banking, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing amongst others graced the occasion.
It was a fruitful event that Touchdown Travels plans to have periodically. It is believed that the tool will make life easier for their travel managers in these organizations.
