Vidaripay hosts Kigali forum on digital payment solutions

Digital payment company Vidaripay has engaged partners, customers, and community members in Kigali to discuss challenges and opportunities in the use of payment solutions across Rwanda and Africa.

The event, which took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, centred on how the platform could better integrate into the everyday lives of users. Participants shared their experiences with payment systems and identified key priorities for improvement.

“People want speed and simplicity when paying at events, hotels, or shops,” a summary of the discussions noted. Security concerns also featured prominently, with attendees emphasising the need for fraud protection and trust in digital transactions.

Community members further highlighted the importance of services that support both small daily activities, such as airtime top-ups, and larger needs like cross-border transfers.

According to Vidaripay, the engagement reflects its approach of building solutions based on user feedback rather than just technology. “Money isn’t only about systems and apps. It’s about people and how payments can fit smoothly into their daily lives,” the company said in a statement.

The forum is part of Vidaripay’s expansion drive across Africa, with the company pledging to continue creating platforms where users can directly contribute to shaping digital financial services.

The June 22 event was sponsored by Vidari Company Ltd, Vidari Company SARLs, and Vidari Group LLC.
