Lufthansa, German Airlines has disclosed plans to bring business and world aviation standards in terms of quality services and safety to Nigerian passengers The airline disclosed that by December, Lufthansa’s new Premium Economy would be on all flights to and from Nigeria. It added that the passengers of the German airline would also enjoy the new business class on almost all flights before the end of the year, saying that the new First Class has already won accolades in Europe as well as in the United States and is synonymous with the most luxurious form of travel from Lufthansa’s Nigerian gateways.

Members of the National Association of Air Traffic Engineers (NAAE) have decried the absence of spare parts for equipment across the nation’s airports. Speaking at the occasion marking the 33rd NAAE annual celebration in Lagos, the national president of NAAE Ebenezer Makanjuola, an engineer, explained that the lack of spare parts has negatively affected the performance of equipment at the airports in the country.
