Army detains general over theft of palliative rice, military equipment

The Nigerian Army has detained former commander of the 3 Brigade in Kano, M.A. Sadiq, over allegations of theft and mismanagement of palliatives. He allegedly diverted palliative rice from the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) meant for soldiers under his command.
