Apostle Kure inaugurates BoT for TCNS, Kafanchan

The Proprietor of Throneroom College of Nursing Sciences, Kafanchan, Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, has inaugurated the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the newly established institution, urging members to provide the leadership needed to drive the college to world-class standards.

Kure, who is also the Vision Pioneer of Throneroom Trust Ministry, performed the inauguration on Thursday in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In his address, he described the Board as a “dream Board” that would help drive the production of world-standard nursing personnel to meet healthcare needs in Southern Kaduna and beyond.

He said members were selected based on their principles, performance and enduring legacies in their professions, and urged them to ensure that the college stands out in curriculum, staffing, discipline, ethics and overall standard.

He added that “the institution would create opportunities for the people and help close healthcare manpower gaps in the area.”

Specifically, he paid special tribute to the Chairman of the Board, Mrs Alheri Yusuf, for her role in helping to fast-track the establishment of the college.

Kure noted further that Yusuf, a former Director of Nursing at the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, had also served as a consultant to organisations such as UNFPA and USAID.
He expressed hope that the college would grow into a model of excellence that would inspire more developmental efforts in Southern Kaduna.

Meanwhile, in her acceptance speech, the Chairman of the Board, Alheri Yusuf, thanked the proprietor for the opportunity and pledged, saying that the board would give its best to ensure the success of the institution.

She called for cooperation among board members and management staff, urging them to see their appointment as a call to service to God and humanity.

Yusuf said the college hoped to admit candidates writing this year’s Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination and was committed to producing compassionate and qualified nurses. She also appealed to the Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area for support in the areas of security and access road to the institution.

In a goodwill message, the Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area, Peter Tanko Dogara, congratulated the proprietor and the college on the inauguration of the board.
