The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the commencement of admissions into its School of Part-Time Studies (LASU-SPTS) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The University Registrar, Emmanuel A. Fanu, interested candidates can now apply for admission into various part-time degree programmes domiciled at the Ojo Campus of the institution.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess five O’Level credits.
Direct entry is also available for holders of OND certificates from recognized polytechnics and those with LASU diplomas (Upper Credit) in relevant fields.
Programmes are available across five faculties:
Faculty of Arts: English Language, History and International Studies, Music, Philosophy, Peace Studies, and Yoruba Communication Arts.
Faculty of Communication and Media Studies: Mass Communication.
Faculty of Management Sciences: Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Insurance, and more.
Faculty of Science: Computer Science and Fisheries.
Faculty of Social Sciences: Economics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
LASU urged prospective candidates should visit http://lasu.edu.ng/epayment to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000:00 only to access the application form.
“Candidates are required to complete the application form, upload their credentials, and submit the forms online,” LASU stated.
“Thereafter, candidates will be invited for an entrance examination. Successful candidates will be required to pay immediately an acceptance fee of ₦30,000:00 only, and medical fee of ₦30,000:00 only.”
The deadline for application is six weeks from the date of publication.
The university also warned applicants against paying money to individuals or unauthorized accounts, stating that all transactions must be done through the official LASU website.
