The Bi-Annual International Gas Conference and Exhibition organised by the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) will hold from 30th October to 2nd November 2016 at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Nigeria.

The theme is “Nigerian Gas Roadmap and Its Potential for Regional and Global Influence: Its Implementation, Challenges, Opportunities and New Way Forward‎.”

A media statement from the association noted that one of the major features of this year’s conference and exhibition is the introduction of Gas and Power Forum as open discussions between the governments and private sector from one of the most exciting and anticipated energy markets in the world – Nigeria.

According to NGA, it is intended to help ensure government and private sector collaboration at; Achieving cost reflective tariffs and promoting investments to the gas and power sector.

Furthermore, to promote a competitive gas market that will ensure availability and ample gas supply including; Providing clarity on government’s policy in relation to transmission.
