Nigerdock gets ABS certification

Indigenous oil and gas service company, Nigerdock FZE, has successfully transitioned from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certification.This was achieved after the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) conducted an audit of the company`s quality processes, equipment, and workforce, among others, in the company’s Snake Island offices, located on the Snake Island Integrated Free Zone.

The company’s ability to meet all the ISO requirements for the certification with zero non-conformities, informed the appraisal, a statement by Nigerdock FZE indicated.

“I am glad ABS was particularly delighted in the world-class quality standards that Nigerdock maintains as a minimum practice in all the company’s systems,” the company’s general manager, operations, Adebola Adesoye, said.

Commenting on the achievement, the Managing Director of Nigerdock, Pade Durotoye, said: “ This exemplary feat is attributable to the consistent qualities we at Nigerdock have demonstrated over the years in all areas of our business including customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management, all of which are synonymous with the Nigerdock brand.”

“Nigerdock is renowned globally for its world class safety standards, having been recognised by key players in the oil and gas industry and currently has over 16.5 million man hours with zero lost time incident (LTI). This advancement, from a quality perspective, is further indicative of Nigerdock’s continued commitment to world class standards in its administration and core businesses”, he added
