Nigerian market deserves high quality lubricants, says 11 Plc

The management of 11Plc (formerly Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc), has reiterated that the Nigerian market deserves high quality lubricants given the potential of the market and opportunities therein.

The management of 11Plc (formerly Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc), has reiterated that the Nigerian market deserves high quality lubricants given the potential of the market and opportunities therein.

The company said it was poised and strongly determined, more than ever before, to continue to make available to the teeming users, Mobil high quality lubricants in the market.

“This is our covenant with you, the end-user. To ensure there is no gap in products supply, we have embarked on massive renovations and modernisation of our Lube Oil Blending Plant (LOBP) at Apapa, Lagos, to guarantee regular products availability in Nigeria market,” the Managing Director/CEO of the company, Tunji Oyebanji, told consumers on Monday.

He said this at the grand finale of the series of raffle draws to bring to an end the Mobil Super Peel and Win marketing promotion in Lagos.

“This commitment is without the exclusion of other Mobil lubricant brands engineered for other specific and specialised applications. We will continue to be the leader in providing quality lubricants and lubrication supporting services to industries. These are what differentiate us from competition, and we are even better placed today to do more. And we are committed to doing so in many years to come,” Oyebanji assured.

He said the new management had recognised the role of marketing promotions in products acceptability, business growth and profitability., and was leaving no stones unturned in that respect.

The Mobil Super ‘Peel and Win’ promo was rounded up on August 31, 2018 after about four months intensive travelling and roadshows. Monday’s raffle draws will be the seventh out of the planned seven raffle draws to support the promo initiative.

At various times during the course of the promo, the company said it conducted raffle draws in seven state capitals, including Abuja.
It added, “We started with Ibadan and moved to Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin City, Kano and Abuja in the order given. Today we are rounding up with Lagos.

“The previous draws produced about 80 winners of the major prize items that included tricycles (otherwise knowns as Keke Marwa), motorcycles, power generators, gas cookers, smart telephone handsets, mechanic toolboxes and cash prizes outside other hundreds of freely shared footballs, Mobil-NATA branded mechanic coveralls for mechanics, football jerseys, branded biros and key holders, among others.”
