1,820 farmers benefit from CBN programme in Kebbi
No fewer than 1,820 farmers benefit from the Khadimya for Justice and Development Anchor Borrower loan programme in Kebbi State.This was disclosed yesterday at a ceremony held weekend.
The National Chairman of the Kadimya, Mallami Abubakar, said the aim of the programme was to assist farmers, most especially those that lost their farm produce.He explained that the Kadimya is a not-for-profit organization to empower resource-challenged people.w
“Our NGO is to improve the socio-economics of the people. We collaborate with CBN and get a loan for the farmers. This will reduce their suffering and support their farm inputs,” he added.
Also speaking on the occasion, the Minister of justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Alhaji Abubakar Malami, condoled with victims of recent flooding in the state.
