To provide insight into the global education system and academic opportunities abroad, ALTS Education is set to host international school representatives in Lagos between October 8 and 9.

Founder and Managing Partner, ALTS Education, Mrs. Anthonia Sawyerr, in a statement, said education is a global necessity.

Sawyerr said: “ALTS recognises that knowledge acquisition is a borderless activity. Many seek to get answers to questions and gain qualifications, which can help further their careers and options. We have been holding fairs since 2016 and the company has also provided Nigerians with education advisory and placement services over the years, ensuring that students attend high-quality institutions that can bring out their true potential.”

Sawyerr said the firm assists Nigerians in diaspora with advice on suitable boarding schools in the country.

“ALTS staff regularly embark on physical visits to schools abroad and as such, are able to provide essential due diligence required by parents and students alike,” she said.

Sawyerr, who is a former Consultant of KPMG (UAE), said: “Pastoral care, academic standard, suitability of each student to the school they attend and other considerations, including gender or faith-based preferences are clearly shown to families so that they can find the right school abroad.”

Apart from the annual fair, expert student advisory and placement, Sawyerr said the firm has run training sessions for over 600 teachers in the country’s public schools, with a view to raising education quality.

She said the company intends to continue supporting schools in under-served areas in Lagos, as part of its corporate social responsibility programme, recognising the importance of high-quality education opportunities in the country.
