christTo kick-start Nigeria’s 55th independence anniversary the Believers Love World, Christ Embassy, last week, launched its Reachout Nigeria Campaigns with the theme, Dawning A New Nation, in Lagos.

The campaign, which will culminate in December aims at educating, informing and evangelising the country, reaching out to the unreached.

The Chairman of the project committee, Pastor Chidi Ezimako, said, “Reachout Nigeria Project is now a movement with a single goal of reaching the lost in the nooks and crannies of the country. We are reaching these lost ones through our prayers, by impacting on our host communities through our social community responsibilities, distribution of ‘Rhapsody Of Realities’ and instilling patriotic spirit in Nigerians.

“We aim is to transform Nigeria by fostering hope and faith in the citizens because Nigeria is not yet a failed nation. One of the marks of a failed nation is mass exodus, Nigeria is blessed and we must work to improve on the people’s wellbeing, make them believe in Nigeria, because if things go well with Nigeria, things will go well with us,” he said.

Ezimako disclosed that according to Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, the President of Believers World Nation, history has shown that policies, laws and wisdom of man have failed over time and that if we would love to see the changes we crave for, then we must realise that the change must have to start from the inside and then, transcend to every one of us. Contributing his quota to making sure that information such as contained in the ‘Rhapsody Of Realities’ is made available to every citizen of this country, to help transform their minds and build firm foundations on the word of God makes the whole difference.

Lagos, Zonal Director of the Church, Pastor Lanre Alabi, informed that ‘Rhapsody Of Realities, a daily devotional, now in its 15th year in print, has got to over 242 countries and in 664 languages of which 38 of them are in Nigeria.

He added that the Reachout Campaign, now in its 9th year, has impacted on many Nigerians, including awarding scholarships to 35 inmates to study different courses at the Open University of Nigeria.

Alabi said: “The creation of an ideal state can only be achieved through determination, resilient attitude and a strong belief in the idea of the possibility of Dawning A New Nation, amid the negative things that surround us as a nation.”
