Carloha Nigeria, the authorised dealer of Chery vehicles, has disclosed plans to introduce another electric vehicle into the Nigerian market.
The company said the plan was part of its efforts to strengthen its presence in the country’s evolving electric mobility space.
The company said preparations for the launch are already at an advanced stage, reflecting growing confidence in the future of electric transportation in Nigeria and the increasing acceptance of EV technology among local motorists.
Although Carloha has yet to reveal details of the incoming model, industry stakeholders believe the move signals the company’s intention to deepen its footprint in Nigeria’s automotive sector following the growing popularity of the iCAUR brand.
Since entering the Nigerian market, iCAUR has continued to attract attention from motorists, technology enthusiasts, environmentally conscious consumers, and young professionals seeking a combination of innovation, performance, comfort, and modern design.
Speaking on the company’s electric mobility strategy, Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria, Sola Adigun, told auto journalists in Lagos that Nigerian consumers are gradually embracing modern automotive technologies as awareness grows around the economic and environmental benefits of electric vehicles.
According to him, the market response to iCAUR has reinforced the company’s confidence in the future of intelligent and energy-efficient mobility solutions in Nigeria.
He noted that the planned launch formed part of a wider strategy aimed at expanding consumer choice, encouraging sustainable transportation and aligning Nigeria with global trends in green mobility technology.
Also speaking, General Manager, Marketing at Carloha Nigeria, Felix Mahan, said the company remained committed to offering vehicles that combine advanced technology, safety, durability and value, while also strengthening after-sales support for customers.
He mentioned the company’s CarlohaCare 6-6-7 package, which provides Chery customers with a six-year warranty, six years of free service and a seven-day repair promise, including the provision of a courtesy vehicle if repairs exceed the stipulated period.
