Experts task Nigerians on quality tyres


Nigerians have been charged on the need to buy good, quality and durable new tyres, against the already used imported tyres, to guarantee safety of lives and of such vehicles on the road. In addition, they were to go for quality, regardless of the high cost, which would give the much need rest of mind and peace, to drive such vehicle, with utmost confidence at all times.

These advice were proffered by the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, Kewalram Chanrai Group Limited, Victor Eburujalo, the CEO, Asahi Brands Ltd Nigeria, Sole Distributors of the Bridgestone, Firestone Tyres in Nigeria, Anil Sahgal and the Regional Director, Middle East and Africa, Stefano Sanchini, at the inauguration of more Bridgestone, Firestone Tyres centres and close door meeting in Lagos.

Speaking on the inauguration Sanchini posited that it was very much necessary to further improve and positively expand joint cooperation and partnership among both brands, as Nigeria remains the core of such business expansion and improvement of Bridgestone, Firestone Tyres. He said the meeting was to further encourage its immense numerous clients and customers on the need for such education and assistance to fully guarantee their lives and the vehicles on the road, and the need to positively invest on the Bridgestone and Firestones Tyres to confidently guarantee them, the real worth for their money.

Eburujalo reiterated the need for such cooperation to be revitalized, judging from the honest transactions between them and the high quality of the brands, which have continuously impressed their numerous valued appreciated customers, nationwide. He therefore charged Nigerians to invest on quality, durable tyres, against those used imported, which often account for numerous avoidable accidents on road.

“It therefore behoves on all to go for the best at all times, to guarantee the safety lives and the vehicles at all times,” he added. He called on government to improve on road infrastructure to promote the longevity of such tyres on roads and safety of the drivers and vehicle owners as well.
