Main Service and Colala Logistics have reaffirmed commitment to logistics service delivery.

Besides, Main Service assists customers to consolidate, repack their parcels from different suppliers before shipping to Nigeria.

Speaking at the end of the year party, General Manager, Main Service and Colala Logistics, Chetachi Okeke, said Main Service is into air and shipping logistic services from China to Nigeria.

Okeke said: “Both companies take care of Customs clearing from all ports in Nigeria, we are into goods consolidation. We also assist our customers in communication with their Chinese suppliers because of the language barrier. We bridge the gap to assist our customers to communicate effectively with their customers, whether in terms of supply or payment.”

She added that the companies also do transportation and doorstep delivery across Nigeria. “So whatever type of goods you have, be it general goods, sensitive goods, any type of goods you have, we have the capacity to cater for them.”

Speaking on how the company has fared since the pandemic, she said: “Since the COVID-19 era, a lot of logistics companies have sprung up, because people now prefer to stay in the comfort of their homes to order goods and services from different locations.

“We have been in this logistics business since 2014 and we have already gained ground in terms of handling things. New companies are coming up, but we have our niche because our service focuses more on China to Nigeria.

“We have our plans, which some are long-term and some are short-term. We have strategies and we are going to be deploying it one step at a time. We are going to be following the latest trend and technology and be able to apply it to our duties whenever it is relevant.

“We are working hard to see that we follow up and we remain in the business and we have the facilities to cater for now and future. The key to logistics is speed in delivery. We deliver with our own trucks, buses and dispatch riders. We have different warehouses in strategic locations across the country,” she added.
