Qoray Mobility has made history, breaking a Guinness World Record with its Teak EV at Lagos’ iconic National Theatre. The electric auto-rickshaw covered an impressive 347 kilometres in 12 hours, far surpassing the previous benchmark of 250 kilometres. This record-setting achievement highlights the company’s pioneering role in sustainable transportation, showcasing the potential of African innovation on a global stage.

The feat was powered by the state-of-the-art Teak EV, which features advanced lithium-ion battery technology. Guinness World Records adjudicator Carl Saville officially certified the milestone, marking it as a major victory for green mobility. Sekinat Taiwo, the skilled and determined tricyclist at the heart of the effort, brought the achievement to life, demonstrating the transformative potential of African solutions.
