TLI gives new cars to Nigerians promoting charity
President of the organisation, Junlyn Afalla, who narrated her ordeals and how her dreams eventually became a reality, said the need to promote initiatives that would empower people and end poverty must be prioritised across the world.
The event, which also brought together members of the organisation from across the country, and also saw others wining consolidation prizes would be the third of its kind, indicating the company’s commitment to reach out to the less privileged, Afalla added.
“I have come here to encourage and tell someone that if you conceive any dream in your hearts, it will surely come to reality,” Afalla said.She stressed that the non-profit organisation would remain committed to people’s welfare, adding that there was need for other people to promote the initiative.
Some of the winners, including Emmanuel Okon, Oluwakemi Anota, Victoria Idah, Nwamaka Okpokwu, and Ifeoma Anya, were optimistic that the gesture would encourage them to carry community projects that would empower and touch lives of the less privileged.The company disclosed that it has concluded plans to reach out to internally displaced persons (IDPs) beginning from next year.
