Firm donates motorcycles, jackets, safety helmets to KAROTA
Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc has donated three motorcycles, 50 reflective jackets and 25 safety helmets to Kano State Road Transport Agency (KAROTA) to support its management of traffic in the state.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the palace of the Emir of Kano, the Chairman, NB Plc., Chief Kolawole Jamodu, said the company made the donation to complement the Kano State government’s efforts at reducing traffic congestion in the metropolis.
Receiving the items, the Managing Director, KAROTA, Ahmed Isa Disu, thanked NB Plc for their various contributions towards the socio-economic growth of the state.
Also speaking, the Corporate Affairs Manager, NB Plc. (North), Kabiru Kassim, revealed that beyond the donation, the company through its flagship non-alcoholic brand – Maltina- would continue to identify with Kano people through the sponsorship of the Durbar and its various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) investments in the state and region.
