As part of its commitment to human capital growth, a group under the aegis of The New Synergy Specialists (TNSS) is set to offer scholarships to professionals in commemoration of its fifth anniversary.

The firm, a strategic partner of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in Nigeria said it has contributed to human capital growth, especially for the finance and accounting profession not only in the country, but in West Africa.

Spokesman for TNSS, Tunji Ajibola, who is also team lead, corporate and business law of the organisation said the group is proud to partner with ACCA to support human capital development for the Nigerian professional accountant with global relevance and local flavour.

Ajibola, who spoke at a briefing in Lagos, said, “The role of human capital in facilitating economic and social development, especially in developing countries like Nigeria has been emphasised by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and other international developmental agencies.

“In enhancing human capital development, we have partnered with various Nigerian universities as citadels of learning to prepare undergraduates by exposing them early enough to the benefits of a professional qualification in addition to their academic degrees in a bid to produce future ready accountants. “We also further provide tuition in helping the students get ready and pass the ACCA exams, which one can commence even before the conclusion of academic studies,” Ajibola stated.
