
Ogundipe spoke at the second Engineering Faculty alumni lecture titled, “Alumni association: A veritable tool for networking and promotion of professionalism”.
He said his plans towards making UNILAG a world-class institution included building a mini refinery and setting up of skills acquisition centre for the students.
Ogundipe said this is being done in partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Bank of Industry.
Managing Director, Krista Laurel Limited, Dideolu Falobi, who was the guest speaker highlighted ways of funding alumni associations and also how active members could benefit from such.
According to him, “Networking among alumni associations could bring about connections that could give the career and job of the person a boost.
He also urged members to give back to the growth of the faculty.
