Two of Nigeria’s leading public relations agencies, Chain Reactions Africa and Integrated Indigo, have racked up multiple nominations in this year’s African Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement (SABRE) Awards.
The nominations were announced by PRovoke Media, organisers of the continent’s most esteemed awards for public relations and brand communications. Chain Reactions Africa emerged as a standout performer with eight nominations, while Integrated Indigo followed closely with five, reinforcing both firms’ reputation for innovation and impact within Africa’s dynamic PR landscape.
In a major win ahead of the main awards, Chain Reactions Africa clinched a Diamond SABRE Award for Company of the Year, earned for its work with Dufil Prima Foods, the makers of Indomie Noodles. The recognition comes as a result of the agency’s groundbreaking execution of the Indomie Heroes Awards, a long-running corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign that honours courageous Nigerian children. The initiative has touched lives across the nation, reinforcing Indomie’s image as a purpose-driven brand.
The SABRE Awards celebrate outstanding public relations campaigns across Africa. Entries are evaluated based on creativity, content, strategy, and measurable impact.
In addition to Chain Reactions and Integrated Indigo, several other Nigerian agencies made the finalists list, including Bobby Taylor Company, Blanche Aigle Communications, Image Merchants Promotion, TPT International, and SKOT Communications and Editor-in-Chief of PRovoke Media, Paul Holmes, said: “We saw more entries from more agencies than ever before. Once again, the quality of work was outstanding not only in content and creativity, but increasingly in strategic planning and measurement. The quality of storytelling is exceptional, and the best work in Africa is on par with the best in the world.”
This year’s shortlist includes over 120 campaigns, selected from a competitive pool of more than 500 submissions by agencies and brands across the continent.
Winners will be officially revealed in two weeks on the PRovoke Media website. The African SABRE Awards Gala is scheduled for June 12, 2025, in Mombasa, Kenya, as part of the annual African Public Relations Association (APRA) conference.
As anticipation builds, Nigeria’s robust showing led by Chain Reactions Africa and Integrated Indigo, highlights the country’s growing influence in the African public relations sector and its capacity for world-class storytelling and strategic communication.
