Mercedes unveils Maybach G-Class 650, world’s most expensive SUV
Only 99 to be made
Mercedes-Benz on Tuesday, revealed the world’s most expensive sport utility vehicle (SUV), Maybach G-Class 650, boasting a retractable roof, thermal cup holders and a built in picnic table.
Unveiled at the ongoing Geneva Auto Show in Switzerland, Mercedes-Benz expects to sell the vehicles for $500,000 and only 99 will be built.
The Maybach G-Class 650 debuted with luxurious features with off-roading capabilities and a fitted V12 bi-turbo engine that delivers a maximum output of 463 kW (630 hp).
The vehicle also came with thermal cup holders, folding tables stashed in the middle console and a retractable roof
The vehicle, which stretches 17 feet long, only require the riders to press a button and the large folding top opens electrically to offer a view of the blue sky.
With wheelbase of 11 feet and about seven feet tall, the Maybach seats about four passengers comfortably, giving top treated to those at the back – they have access to the retractable roof.
There is also a feature that electrically operates glass partition separates the rear compartment from the driver’s section.

The Mercedes-Maybach G-Class 650 features the same 100 per cent differential locks as the rest of the vehicles in its segment.
