NASFAT trains members on media skills
Nasrul lahi l Faith Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) has partnered with a media-training institute, National Broadcast Academy Lagos to train members on various aspects of media and enhance their skills in Dawah activities.
The three-day media training themed: ‘Upgrading of Media Skills for Enhancing Dawah’ workshop will commence on the 12th April. It is scheduled to focus on knowledge acquisition in four key areas of the media. These are news writing and reporting media ethics and law, presentation and public speaking and elocution.
The Director of the National Broadcast Academy, Abiola Ajibola, said the courses have been specially selected and tailored to the needs of the participants for value addition in their various roles within NASFAT and their individual organisations.
Ajibola said the facilitators include veterans in the industry whose practical experience will benefit the participants immensely.
The participants for the workshop include the publicity secretaries, missioners, administrators of NASFAT as well as other stakeholders who are representatives of headquarter, zones and branches of NASFAT nationwide. About 80 participants are expected at the workshop.
