Pally Agro Products Limited (PAPL) has officially launched three new products into the market.During the launch held in Lagos, the company unveiled PAPL Banga Fresh Palm Fruit Extract, Tru Unripe Plantain Flour and Tru Soya Oil.

Located in Abeokuta, Ogun State, PAPL is a modern farm specialised in the production of various agricultural products.Chief Executive Officer, Pally Groups, Nwakali Onyeagu said PAPL is focusing on growing and processing of indigenous produce in order to ensure food sufficiency and security in the country.

“We have huge purchase capacity. Agric had always been the front burner of Nigerian economy before oil, so the focus here is to develop the economy in agriculture beyond oil. Although, there are challenges in the industry but with our competent expertise and adequate resources, we are covered.”

The Managing Director, Anuli Onyeagu said: “Our products are Organic natural products with no adulterations, we do not cut corners with our produce, we ensure that we go through appropriate processes for qualitative result.  Agriculture is not a child’s play, especially poultry, as a lot of investment is put into it. Agriculture is indigenous and if all the pros and cons are in place, it can be very lucrative.

“However the major challenge is the extreme high rate of tax charges by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). They slam us with outrageous tax bills as much N15 to N20million and when you factor in your cost of production and overhead, and put all these bills together it’s enough to cripple your business,” she lamented.
