Nigerian higher institutions are faced with a series of sexual scandals in the last few days, as the management of Edo State Polytechnic last week expelled two students of the institution for illicitly engaging in a sexual activity.

The students identified as Falodun Olabode and Ediae Sylvia who are both in the first year of their National Diploma (ND1) programme, Mass Communication department, were caught in the act at a lecture theatre in the school.

The school’s registrar, Mr. Cyril Simire released the official statement of their expulsion last Wednesday.

This is happening shortly after the leaked sex video involving Babcock University students. The 300-level student was also expelled for the randy act.
