Engr. Oyeniyi Ajao, a celebrated mechanical engineer with extensive expertise in operations and project management for critical infrastructure projects, has been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). The award, one of the highest honors in the engineering profession in Nigeria, was presented during the society’s Annual National Conference held on November 18, 2024, in Abuja. The event brought together over 6,000 delegates, including leaders from the engineering industry, academia, manufacturers, government, and private sector.

Engr. Ajao earned this recognition for his exceptional contributions to the engineering profession, including his leadership in executing groundbreaking projects across West Africa. His impressive portfolio includes spearheading the installation of West Africa’s first fully automated racking system, one of the region’s largest BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) plants, several micro-grid power plants, oil tank farms, and high-speed bottling lines. These projects have not only transformed industrial operations but have also contributed to energy efficiency and manufacturing advancements in the region.
