At this year’s African Praise Experience hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Metropolitan Senior Pastor of House On The Rock, thousands gathered in The Rock Cathedral for an evening of indigenous gospel excellence and spirit-breathed unity.
A defining moment came when gospel-culture artist Gaise Baba led worshippers in a stirring rendition of his anthem “No Turning Back.” Known for his children-focused ministry and culturally resonant messaging, Gaise Baba’s sound struck a prophetic chord.
Adefarasin honoured him publicly, calling the song “a message from heaven,” and lamented that today’s leaders have not yet passed on the Nigeria the next generation deserves.
“Our generation hasn’t left the next one the Nigeria they deserve. But this sound, this message, can wake a nation,” he said.
Adefarasin then announced a strategic partnership with Gaise Baba’s blessing, House On The Rock will convene world-class producers and engineers to craft a global release aimed at the highest platforms—including the Grammys. He also hinted at a special return performance on an upcoming Sunday and spoke of a cinematic music project to debut ahead of The Experience Lagos 2025.
“I believe in Gaise Baba’s theology and mission,” Adefarasin stated. “Through his voice, we will declare: We will not leave Nigeria the way we met it.”
