Africa’s creative industry is set to converge once again as the African Creators Summit returns on January 23–24, 2025. This year, the two-day summit, themed “Building a Sustainable Ecosystem: Content as a Tool”, will focus on how content can transform industries and drive innovation.

Following the success of the inaugural event in 2024, which drew over 1,000 creative from across the continent; the 2025 edition aims to engage even more industry leaders and creators. The summit will feature thought-provoking conversations and collaborations designed to explore how the creative industry can fuel growth and empower other sectors.

Day one will explore how content can be used to educate people in various fields, with experts from education, healthcare, finance, and media sharing their insights with content creators. A major highlight will be a fashion show, where top digital creators will team up with ten talented Nigerian designers to showcase the power of fashion and content together. This unique collaboration aims to drive innovation, amplify African creativity worldwide, and celebrate African craftsmanship. The process will be documented, and the creators will compete for a cash prize.

On day two, themed “The Feast”, will celebrate African culture, with traditional African attire as the dress code. This segment will be focused at creating an opportunity for influencers and top prospects to dine and connect in one hub. Also to raise important questions that allows for progress and insights.

Reflecting on the summit’s impact, organizer Oladapo ‘OJ’ Adewunmi shared, “The African Creators Summit is about fostering collaboration and innovation. Last year, we saw how conversations sparked ideas and connections that are still driving change today. This year, we’re not just talking about content as a tool—we’re showing how it can transform industries, from fashion to education, and build a more sustainable creative ecosystem for Africa.”

The African Creators Summit 2.0 begins at 9:00 AM on January 23 at the Balmoral Event Centre Lagos. It promises to be an exciting and insightful event for anyone passionate about Africa’s creative future.
