Uche, Inuikim, honoured at Wesley University convocation
Wesley University, Ondo, has graduated 166 students at its 9th and 10th convocation ceremony. The university also rewarded deserving supporters of the institution.
At the event, held at Olabanji Akiingbule lecture theatre, the Prelate, Methodist Church, Nigeria, Dr. Samuel Kanu was honoured with the award of Grand Fellow of Wesley University, Ondo; Dr. Asuquo Inuikim Obon, with Doctor of Science; while Dame Torka was honoured with Doctor of Management, among others.
The Chancellor, Dr. Paul Enenche, who is the Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, said Obon was given the award in recognition of his numerous contributions to humanity as well as university education.
An elated Obon lauded the institution for the honour and recognition, saying that he was pleased that his services and contributions to humanity were valued.
