Varsity commissions water plant
The Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of Lagos, Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, has donated a water plant to Augustine University, Ilara –Epe to provide clean, potable bottle water to the university community.
The Catholic priest while speaking at the commissioning thanked those who have been assisting in the development of the institution.
Okogie, who is the founder of the university, lauded the proprietor and Archbishop of Lagos, Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins for his fatherly care towards staff and students.
Chairman, Board of Trustees, Sir Steve Omojafor, said they decided to build the water plant after seeing students going out to get drinking water.
