With the Lion King ocean crest students thrill guests


At their last yearly big drama titled, The Lion King, students of Ocean Crest School, Lekki, did not only treat parents and guests to high quality entertainment, but also proved once again that the school is doing everything possible to ensure the children are roundly groomed.

The head, drama team, Mrs. Maria Bariki, explained that the vibrant drama team portrays the school’s vision and mission, while x-raying what goes on in the country.

She said: “The students that participated in the drama were able to excel because Ocean Crest students are eloquent speakers, which has helped them in no small measure to deliver their roles in the yearly drama. The students have represented the school in various public speaking competitions and career fairs and usually emerge successful.

“Our students do not only pride themselves as excellent orators, but have also inculcated the entrepreneurial spirit. This is a platform provided by the school to build great business inclined future leaders”.

The school’s Director of studies, Mrs. Fadekemi Hassan, explained that extra curricular activities do not hamper students’ academic prowess, but rather promote academic success.

She disclosed that the school has mapped out a vibrant range of extra curricular activities and soft skills to make the students able to tackle the demands of an ever-evolving world.
