Leading online money transfer company WorldRemit celebrated the Ramadan this year by supporting communities in Kano State with food items for families in need. The company has partnered with Arms of Mercy Orphanage and Comenius Nursery and Primary School in Lagos State to support their work and enhance the lives of children.

Representatives from WorldRemit will visit Arms of Mercy Orphanage, an orphanage that provides children in its care with the love, guidance and education they need to achieve their aspirations. WorldRemit will support the organization’s essential work by donating food and sanitary products.

WorldRemit will also help to enhance the learning experience for children at Comenius Nursery and Primary School by providing school furniture and food. The school provides tuition-free education for vulnerable children in Alimosho, local government area in Ikeja, Lagos State.
